Our two-day online Additive Manufacturing and Laser Welding Workshops offer thorough, hands-on instruction in the interface and modeling capabilities of FLOW-3D AM and FLOW-3D WELD. Workshop registration includes a 30 day FLOW-3D AM or FLOW-3D WELD license and in-depth, customized technical support.
Unless otherwise noted, all FLOW-3D AM workshops run from 1:00pm – 3:00pm ET (10:00am – 12:00pm PT) over two consecutive days.
- August 9 — 10, 2023
- October 25 — 26, 2023
Custom dates available – choose ‘Custom workshop’ on the registration form and our workshop instructor will contact you to schedule your workshop.
What will you learn in an Additive Manufacturing Workshop?
- How to set up, run and analyze simulations of additive manufacturing processes such as laser powder bed fusion and directed energy deposition.
- How to use FLOW-3D AM to analyze the effect of specific parameters on your process design.
- How FLOW-3D POST can be used to create compelling visualizations for in-depth analysis of the melt pool and associated defects.
What will you learn in a Laser Welding Workshop?
- How to set up, run and analyze simulations of laser welding processes such as laser welding in both conduction and keyhole modes, laser beam shaping, and laser cladding.
- How to use FLOW-3D WELD to analyze the effect of specific parameters on your process design.
- How FLOW-3D POST can be used to create compelling visualizations for in-depth analysis of the melt pool and associated defects.
Workshop License
- You will have access to a FLOW-3D license for 30 days following the workshop. During this period, a Flow Science CFD Engineer will work closely with you, providing customized technical support to help you develop CFD models for analysis of your process.
- If you decide to purchase a FLOW-3D license, the workshop fee will be fully credited toward your purchase.
