Water Infrastructure Modeling Workshop
June 5, 2023 | 13:30 – 19:00 (GMT+1)
Registration deadline: May 30, 2023
Co-located with the FLOW-3D World Users Conference, the workshop will be held in-person in Le 7 at the Sofitel Strasbourg Grande Ile in Strasbourg, France.
This exploratory workshop will train water engineers in the practical applications of computational fluid dynamics (CFD) to water infrastructure projects. Attendees of this half-day workshop will leave with a thorough understanding of how FLOW-3D HYDRO can easily and effectively model free surface flows around complex hydraulic structures. We will cover additional modeling topics, including sediment scour and entrained air applications, as well as advanced chemistry and multi-phase flows relevant to water treatment facilities.
There will be the opportunity to follow along with hands-on examples during the workshop. A 30-day FLOW-3D HYDRO license will be provided to attendees.
