We develop CFD software that lets our customers solve the world’s toughest CFD problems, involving free surface flows, turbulence, heat transfer and fluid-structure-interaction. We are looking for an intern to join our software engineering department for the summer or fall of 2019.
The candidate must be a recent Computer Engineering or Computer Science graduate (December 2018 or May 2019) with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree. The ideal candidate for this internship will have experience in object-oriented programming and exposure to C++, excellent oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Principal tasks and responsibilities
Supporting our Software Engineers in the design, implementation and maintenance of new elements and improvements in the FLOW-3D GUI:
- Implement specified improvements to existing features of the FLOW-3D graphical user interface
- Assist the other GUI programmers with porting the FLOW-3D graphical user interface to supported platforms
- Attend regular product update and training meetings
