In the second of our 2018 water and environmental training webinars, we review the FLOW-3D setup procedures for simulating flow over a Piano Key Weir. This includes a review of our multi-block meshing techniques and a discussion of strategies for maximizing FAVOR™ accuracy in simulations with complex geometry. We finish with a comparison between FLOW-3D and physical model results, and discuss best practices for this class of simulations.
