It’s been more than two years since FLOW-3D AM‘s portfolio of tools have taken off. Since then our users from industry and academia have published exciting case studies and journal papers on the importance of melt pool modelling for laser welding and AM processes such as laser powder bed fusion (LPBF) and directed energy deposition processes. In this webinar, we discuss the latest developments in FLOW-3D AM such as 2-material welding and LPBF simulations, improvements to the surface tension model, and the new user interface. Additionally, we go over some of the published case studies from our users to see how FLOW-3D AM is helping optimize process parameters to better control AM processes at the melt pool scale.
