A Message to the FLOW-3D Community

These are truly historic times. The COVID-19 pandemic is threatening the health of our families and friends, the businesses we rely upon, the global economy, our way of life, and the comfort of a relatively predictable future. Our hearts go out to everyone who has been affected by the health consequences of this pandemic, and we are deeply grateful to the first responders, healthcare providers, and the rest of the essential workforce. We are also reaching out to let you know that the Flow Science team is healthy, doing well, and we continue to be available for you.

In our nearly 40 years as a company, we’ve been through a lot — the dotcom boom & bust, 9/11, the Great Recession, and government shutdowns. We’ve even been evacuated from our offices due to forest fires. Throughout these challenges, we have worked to support and nurture our employees, customers, partners — you, our community. As we face this pandemic and the necessary measures that world governments are taking to manage it, we want to assure you of our unwavering commitment to excellence in solving the toughest CFD problems and to superior customer service.

We have firm business continuity plans in place to provide exceptional and uninterrupted service for our customers. Our stellar team members are seamlessly executing their jobs remotely — support engineers are working diligently to address your issues; developers are hard at work on upcoming releases; and all of our staff have stepped up to the recent changes and have gone above and beyond to keep us on track.

Effective immediately and continuing until at least February 28, 2021, notwithstanding any contrary limitations in your license agreement, we will allow you to use your license for our FLOW-3D products via remote access from your home, so long as you access your authorized license server through a secure VPN. No further permissions from Flow Science are necessary. All other terms and conditions of your license agreement shall continue to apply, and you remain responsible for compliance with such terms and conditions. If you have further needs that such remote access cannot address, I welcome you to contact our support team at support@flow3d.com.
