FLOW-3D will be showcased in an upcoming 1 day workshop (12/10/18) at the 2018 Fish Passage conference in Albury, Australia. The first portion of this course will cover the fundamentals and workflows of CFD modeling for fish passage design and analysis. The second half of the course will show how to use CFD in conjunction with ELAM models to analyze movement trajectories and distributions of fish near waterway infrastructure.
In addition to the workshop, Flow Science CEO Amir Isfahani will be giving two presentations. The first topic will be on fish exclusion screens, where we will be presenting some recently completed validation work. The second presentation will give an overview of CFD modeling approaches and best practices for simulating fish passages.
