Flow Science Deutschland GmbH Formed to Represent FLOW-3D Software
Flow Science has announced the formation of Flow Science Deutschland GmbH to be a further extension of its distribution channel. The new company is being formed in partnership with key personnel from its former distributor, CFD Consultants GmbH. Flow Science Deutschland will represent FLOW-3D products in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, providing sales and support of the software as well as generalized CFD consulting services.
Frieder Semler, who will be the managing director of the new company, has worked with Flow Science and FLOW-3D since CFD Consultants first began representing them in 1999. Mr. Semler will be joined by Dr. Ing. Matthias Todte, a renowned expert for casting simulations and CFD Consultants member since 2006 and Rolf Krack, perhaps the most experienced user in the area of high pressure die casting working with FLOW-3D since 1996. Flow Science Announces Association with Don Computing (Australia)
Flow Science has entered into a new international association agreement with Don Computing to sell and support Flow Science’s FLOW-3D software in Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea. In addition to taking on sales & support for FLOW-3D, Don offers custom CFD/FEA/Process Modeling/EOR simulation solutions, training and consulting for the chemical, aeronautical, minerals, biomedical, oil and gas industries. The work of a developer focuses on developing, implementing and documenting new additions and modifications to the FLOW-3D software package to meet the increasing demands of the Company’s industrial and scientific user base. An important part of the responsibilities is maintaining the accuracy, efficiency and stability of all existing features of the FLOW-3D solver.
Flow Science has a job opportunity for a Software Engineer. As a Software Engineer, you would use your object oriented programming skills to create and maintain the user interface between our simulation software and the end user. You’ll have an opportunity to combine your creative skills with your analytic skills to contribute to a software that is used by customers around the world.
Flow Science is looking for a sales/application engineer with technical competency in select areas of mechanical engineering including fluid dynamics and heat transfer. The engineer will work with potential clients to demonstrate how our suite of products can provide value to their business in terms of productivity and savings.
