How long have you worked for Flow Science?
March 2nd will mark our second year anniversary.
Why did you choose to come to work for Flow Science?
Another UIUC alumnus at Flow Science was the matchmaker. He gave me my first interview and introduction to FLOW-3D. After that, it was love at first sight.
Why do you like working at Flow Science?
The people that I work with and the atmosphere at Flow Science are what make me look forward to coming to work every day.
What is the most interesting project you are working on right now?
An automated testing system that tests FLOW-3D on multiple platforms at different stages from when the source code is committed by the developer to the end product that reaches the user’s desktop.
Who has had the greatest influence on you and why?
Still to this day, my mom has the greatest influence on me. She is smart, mentally tough, and I am where I am because of her.
What is your favorite city that you’ve visited in the US and why?
Monterey, CA. The Purple Carpet in Pacific Grove is a sight that I never get tired of.
What is your all-time favorite Persian dish?
Tough question; this is like asking a parent which child they love more. But just like parents who secretly love one child more, I have to whisper that I loooove Kaleh Pacheh. Google it but beware of graphic content!
What is your favorite sport?
Street soccer, the size of the goal is 3 ft by 3 ft, and the goalie cannot use his/her hands.
It’s rumored that you’re somewhat of a TV aficionado and video game expert. What TV series are you hooked on right now and what’s your highest Guitar Hero score?
We just caught up with Breaking Bad, which coincidentally is filmed and takes place in Albuquerque. Bryan Cranston is phenomenal in this series. I play drums and have hit 100% of the notes on Guitar Hero. I won’t tell you the difficulty level though.
Besides your Guitar Hero score, what are your important accomplishments?
The biggest accomplishment in my life which overshadows or gives meaning to the ones thereafter is coming to the United States.
How would you describe yourself?
An OCP (coinage of mine), obsessive compulsive perfectionist.
What helps you get out of bed each morning?
The multi-level volume-ascending drumbeat of my cell phone alarm. My hand is figuring it out though, so I am thinking about switching to one of those flying alarm clocks.
Who has the best New Mexican food in Santa Fe?
Red or Green?
