Report: 10th FLOW-3D European User Conference
On May 19th, over 50 users from around Europe gathered in Reims, in the midst of the beautiful Champagne-Ardenne region of France, to share experiences in using FLOW-3D in a variety of challenging problems. The meeting was hosted by Flow Science and its distributors in Germany and Italy, CFD Consultants GmbH and XC Engineering. Sponsors included Distene S.A.S. (France) distributor of CEI’s Ensight, and Genias Graphics (Germany), distributor of Tecplot.
Dr. Michael Barkhudarov, Flow Science’s Vice President of Research & Development, presented Flow Science’s development plans for FLOW-3D and FLOW-3D/MP, while interesting talks were given by users from both industry and academia on topics ranging from metal casting to hydropower projects to coastal engineering to aerospace. A full list of the presentations is available by viewing the agenda for the meeting. Request a copy of the conference proceedings.
