Comings & Goings
New Staff Addition
Melissa Carter joined Flow Science in November 2007 as a CFD Engineer. Melissa has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of New Mexico and expects to complete her M.S. Degree in Mechanical Engineering with an emphasis in Fluids/Thermodynamics in June 2008, also at the University of New Mexico.
Before joining Flow Science, Melissa was concurrently working at Boeing and working on her Master's degree. At Boeing she worked on the COIL lasers as a scientist/engineer for three years and then moved within Boeing to work on electro-mechanical design for almost three years. Melissa hopes to transfer her aerospace experience from Boeing to Flow Science, where she specialized in flow through valves and pumps.
Welcome to the team, Melissa!
