FLOW-3D User Meetings Coming to Asia

User meetings will be held in Asia later this month and early November. Flow Science’s Dr. Michael Barkhudarov and Tom Jensen will travel eastward to join Flow Science associates in hosting meetings for users and prospective users in Seoul, Tokyo and Taipei.

The first meeting is in the Novotel Ambassador Hotel in Seoul (1030-1 Doksan 4-Dong, Geumchun-gu 153-014), and will be held on Friday, October 28th. Contact Soft-Tech International for details.

Next comes the annual FLOW-3D Conference in Tokyo, to be held on Tuesday, November 1st in Hall D5 of the Tokyo International Forum (5-1 Marunouchi 3-chome, Chiyoda-ku). Contact Ms. Keiko Hasegawa at Scientific and Engineering Analysis Corporation for details.

The trip ends in Taipei with a meeting in Room 513 of the Chinese Petroleum Corporation Building (3, Sungren Road, Shinyi Chiu, Taipei) on Thursday, November 3rd, beginning at 9:00 AM. Contact Ms. Annie Chen at HyperINFO Corporation for details.

New Additions to the Flow Science Team

Flow Science has recently added two new "A" players to its team.

The first A, Anurag Chandorkor, just joined Flow Science this week as our newest support engineer. Anurag obtained his Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering at the Old Dominion University in Virginia.

Our other new "A" player is actually a triple A player. Amanda Ruggles is our new Administrative Assistant, and her mission is to make life easier for all of us. Amanda is a graduate of St. John's College in Santa Fe, where she studied in its famed "Great Books" program. So, in addition to making life easier, we expect to see significant improvements in our grammar, syntax and spelling, as well as literary appreciation! Welcome aboard, Anurag and Amanda!

October 20-21, 2005—Maritime Technology Conference & Expo, sponsored by the Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers, held at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, TX, from October 19-21. Visit Dave Souders and Tom Jensen in Booth #113.

October 29-November 2, 2005 —WEFTEC: The 78th Annual Technical Exhibition and Conference sponsored by the Water Environment Federation. WEFTEC will be held at the Washington Convention Center in Washington, DC. Visit Dave Souders and two of Flow Science’s consulting associates, John Richardson and Ken Doyle, in Booth #5803.
