2002 FLOW-3D User's Conference

Users came from three continents and from industry, government, and academia to attend the 2002 FLOW-3D Users Conference on September 30th and October 1st. The conference received very positive reviews from all in attendance. Presentations by users were, as usual, very professional. Topics included high pressure die casting, coupling of fluid flow analysis with moving obstacles, propellant settling, simulation of river mechanics, two-fluid simulations of maritime refueling, analysis of thermosetting compound during mold filling, continuous casting, analysis of polyurethane foaming, and prediction of effluent concentrations. The conference was supplemented with several workshops presented by Flow Science staff concurrently with individual consultation opportunities for attendees. The Users presentations are available for distribution, and the workshops will be made available to users in maintenance on the FLOW-3D Users Site.
