Flow Science Announces Discovery Channel Features FLOW-3D Simulation of Da Vinci Horse

Flow Science’s Italian associate, XC Engineering, using the powerful modeling capabilities of FLOW-3D, has helped prove that the huge horse that Leonardo Da Vinci designed but never got to cast, is feasible. XC Engineering worked with the Institute and Museum of the History of Science (IMSS) in Florence, Italy, to bring this ancient masterpiece to “virtual” life. Their collaborative results have been featured online by Discovery Channel and MSNBC.

Flow Science Announces Its 2010 FLOW-3D World Users Conference

SANTA FE, NEW MEXICO, February 24, 2010. Flow Science, Inc. announces its 2010 FLOW-3D World Users Conference on September 23-24, 2010 at the Hôtel Omni Mont-Royal in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The conference, which lands on the 30th anniversary of Flow Science, is open to FLOW-3D users and those interested in learning about the software. The meeting will feature user presentations from a variety of industrial and research applications. Flow Science staff will be on hand, both to present the development plans for FLOW-3D and to engage attendees in detailed conversations and consultations. Advanced training sessions will be held September 22, 2010, the day before the conference.

Flow Science Announces Its 10^th FLOW-3D European Users Conference

SANTA FE, NEW MEXICO, February 10, 2010. Flow Science Announces Consultancy Agreement with AlchemCast

SANTA FE, NEW MEXICO, February 4, 2010. Flow Science, Inc. announced today it has entered into a cooperative agreement with AlchemCast, LLC to provide computational fluid dynamics (CFD) consultancy services in the iron and aluminum sand casting industry. AlchemCast assisted developers at Flow Science by providing empirical data necessary to validate FLOW-3D’s new core gas generation model and, under the new agreement, will continue to provide supporting data and advice in respect to further developments of FLOW-3D aimed at better serving foundries.
