Flow Science Announces Its 2012 FLOW-3D World Users Conference

SANTA FE, NEW MEXICO, March 20, 2012 Flow Science announced today that its 2012 FLOW-3D World Users Conference will be held September 13-14, 2012 at the Hyatt at Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco, CA. The conference is open to FLOW-3D, FLOW-3D Cast, FLOW-3D ThermoSET and FLOW-3D/MP users and anyone interested in learning more about the software. The meeting will feature user presentations from a variety of industrial and research applications as well as talks on the latest developments for FLOW-3D presented by Michael Barkhudarov, VP of R&D and John Ditter, VP of Software Engineering at Flow Science. A day of free FLOW-3D advanced training in hydraulics and general CFD areas will be held Wednesday, September 12.

The call for presentations and posters is currently open. Abstracts should be 250 words or less and include the title of the presentation or poster, author(s) name(s), job title, and company/institution name. Presentations and posters should focus on benchmarks, validations, practical examples, and case studies using FLOW-3D. Go here for more information about submitting an abstract.

CEI, the developer of the EnSight suite of 3D visualization software, will be the exclusive visualization sponsor at the conference. CEI and Flow Science recently announced a partnership to embed the latest version of EnSight visualization software directly into FLOW-3D. A beta version of the next generation of FLOW-3D with EnSight embedded will be unveiled at the conference. Free training in the use of both EnSight and its embedded version in FLOW-3D will be offered on September 12, concurrent with the FLOW-3D training.
